A brief tale of how the Hot and Hexy series came to be.
The year was 2019. I was dressed as a steampunk saloon girl. (For reasons I cannot disclose)
I was at a reader convention, laughing, drinking, eating way too many carbs, and talking romance with some of the most amazing authors and readers on the planet.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder. “Come with me.”
A small group of us walked into the sultry summer night air.
That’s when it happened. Robyn Peterman asked me if I wanted to write for her Magic and Mayhem Universe. There was laughter. There may have been some squeeing. There was no hesitation. I said yes.
This series is full of bad puns, ridiculous rhymes, magic, chaos, and Happily Ever Afters for all. It’s set in the same location as my Kismet Cove series, but two dimensions to the left. It’s part of the far larger and simply amazing Magic and Mayhem Universe that Robyn built and then invited us to play in.
I love this world, adore the woman who created it, and I am honoured to be part of this marvellous madness.
